We as citizens at some point or the other have always been perturbed or agitated by the lackadaisical, half hearted attitude of the employees at Government offices for our grievances. To address to our issues we have to run from pillar to post to get proper response for our grievances. In this article we will know How to file Grievances online and get timely response.
There is an online portal called Central Public Grievance Redress and Monitoring System (CPGRAMS) by Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DAR&PG) which addresses/settles the Citizen’s grievances in a time bound and effective manner. As the name suggests it is centrally monitored by the Government of India which brings the transparency in its dealing.
How to file Grievance Online
Open the Homepage of the website at pgportal(dot)gov(dot)in and click on the link Please lodge your Grievance Here under Citizen Corner.
Select the type of Grievance option from the choices on your screen
On the next screen you are shown the List of subjects or topics which cannot be treated as grievances. Go through the list and see if your grievance is not listed among the excluded list before proceeding further. Tick the “I Agree” option and click Submit.
