Bali Bhagat inaugurates foundation stone for Sub-District Hospital in Paddar

Amidst huge gathering and thunderous applause Hon’ble Health Minister Mr. Bali Bhagat inaugurated the foundation stone for the Sub-District Hospital in Paddar of District Kishtwar yesterday. Mr. Health Minister was accompanied by MoS Mr. Sunil Sharma, MLC Mr. Firdaus Ahmad Tak, Deputy Commissioner Mr. Balwan.

Mr. Bhagat and Mr. Sunil Sharma reiterated their resolve and commitment towards the development of the far flung area Paddar Valley as their number one priority. The Ministers also mentioned how this holy place of Machail Mata had been ignored completely at the hands of the successive governments since independence. Mr. Sharma also thanked the people of Paddar for supporting the BJP selflessly for all these years and mentioned the other developmental activities that are in the pipeline.

PMGSY roads such as Chitto, Kabban Gandhari and Micro Hydel Power Project HANSWAR 6MW and Kirthai II 930MW will be taken up shortly which will benefit the local youths in getting employment the Minister said. Also the work on 33KV power transmission line is also underway for which the feeder station at Gulabgarh was inaugurated by Deputy CM Dr. Nirmal Singh the previous year Mr. Sharma said.

Mr. Bhagat informed the public that the hospital will be 25 bedded and the construction work on it will be started shortly. He also mentioned that the new Sub-District Hospital is only the second one in the whole state and which has been awarded in Paddar.

Sub District Hospital Paddar

Mr. Arpan Rana (Youth President, BJP Paddar Wing) hailed the decision to setup Sub-District Hospital in Paddar and said the people of Paddar will be greatly benifited which in turn will end the sufferings of the common man who otherwise have to travel to Kishtwar for specialised treatments. The other local dignitaries present were Mr. Janki Nath (President, BJP Wing, Paddar), Mr. Gyan Chand, Mr. Vijay Parihar etc.
