Catastrophe in Kadiulu.

Due to a sudden fire incident in hamlet Kadiulu of village and Panchayat Ligri, at about 2:30 AM on 14th January 2011, 9 houses were completely gutted in a devastating fire taking the lives of four persons of a family, injuring one seriously and also burning aprox. 60 livestocks alive, besides causing burn injuries to some others. The above hamlet is situated at an height of about 6500 ft. Above sea level and is reeling under about -3 degrees Celsius. The said hamlet is about 15 kms from Block Headquarter Gulabgarh Paddar and is not connected by road. The details of the houses burnt are:
Chamail Singh S/O- Naib Chand.
Fulail Singh S/O – Naib Chand.
Roshan Lal S/O – Gyan Chand.
Des Raj S/O – Tej Ram.
Hans Raj S/O – Moti Ram.
Naib Chand S/O – Moti Ram.
Surjeet Kumar S/O – Ganga Ram.
Dhari Lal S/O – Ganga Ram.
Gauri Lal S/O – Ganga Ram.
The names of persons burnt alive are:
Chamail Singh S/O – Naib Chand. Age 30 years
Sunita Devi W/O – Chamail Singh. Age 25 years.
Mohinder singh S/O – Chamail Singh. Age 7 years.
Sharmeela Devi D/O – Chamail Singh. Age 3 years.
One seriously injured includes Urmila Devi (7) D/O – Chamail Singh.
Mr. Nand Lal Chauhan (sarpanch) of the Halqa and Mr. Ram Singh Chauhan, a local of the village have demanded immediate exgratia relief to the extent of 5 lacs to the next of the kin of the deceased, immediate supply of blankets, warm clothes, tents, medicines and timber to the fire sufferers besides 6 months free ration to each family on war footing.
