Cut Off Timing for Jammu Srinagar Highway

• LMVs/Private Cars from Nagrota (Jammu) at 8AM to 12 Noon, from Jakheni (Udhampur) at 9AM to 1 PM
• From Navyug Tunnel (Qazigund side) 8 AM to 12 PM (subject to change depending on the road position then)

Do keep in mind to not travel beyond the cut off timings as no vehicle shall be allowed after that.

NH 44 Traffic Update Today for HMVs/ Load Carriers

The stranded vehicles in Qazigund jurisdiction shall be allowed towards Jammu subject to fair weather conditions and after assessing situation on Jammu Srinagar National Highway.

Mughal Road Traffic Update / SSG Road/ Kishtwar-Sinthan Road

Mughal Road, Srinagar-Sonamarg-Gumri Road and Kishtwar Sinthan Road is closed for vehicular movement in view of the snow accumulation.

Jammu Srinagar National Highway which was previously known as NH 1 A is now NH 44. National Highway 44 stretches at a total distance of 304 kms in Jammu and Kashmir. The national highway is being constructed as a 4 lane Highway and due to that NH 44 is subject to frequent landslides.
