Beginning 25th of July 2017 the annual Machail Yatra has officially commenced. However, schedule for the Machail Yatra 2017 is as under –
18th August – The Holy Mace will leave Chinote in Bhaderwah at 8.30 AM and will halt in Kishtwar overnight.
19th August – Will leave Kishtwar at 9 in the morning towards Atholi.
20th August – At 8 AM the Holy Mace will leave to Shachool, Jwala Mata Temple in Atholi and after performing the prayers there shall commence towards Massu at 2 PM.
21st August – Shall continue the journey towards Chishoti from Massu at 9 AM
22nd August – From Chishoti the Holy Mace shall leave at 8 AM towards Maa Chandi Mata Darbar in Machail the same day.
23rd August – At 8 AM prayers and obeisance shall be paid to Goddess Chandi.
24th August – The Holy Mace will leave towards Atholi at 8 in the morning.
25th August – At 8 AM the final journey shall start towards Chinote in Bhaderwah from Atholi, Paddar.
